This project was an interior remodel in which a built-in entertainment wall and elevated seating platform were installed in an existing living space. The residence is located near Newberry, Florida. The clients wanted a space where they could congregate with their children and grandchildren during family gatherings and also enjoy movies and television on their own. This project was custom designed in collaboration with the clients’ son who is an architect. It is a very contemporary design which incorporates a theater, storage of media, display of photos and collectibles, and customized lighting.

The former master bedroom and bath were converted into a home office, larger walk-in closet, and toilet and shower area. The addition was built of structural insulated panels with a 26 gage steel skin and four inch…
